37-year-old Jason Thomas of Port Huron man who police say stabbed his girlfriend was sentenced yesterday to 20 to 30 years in prison. Reports say a jury found Thomas guilty of assault with intent to murder after a number of hours of deliberation July 27. His trial began July 24. Reports say Thomas stabbed his girlfriend multiple times in November of last year, inside their apartment on 1221 Hancock St. The woman’s injuries included lacerations to her neck, chest, arms and hands.
