A public information session on the changeover from Algonac Police to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office will be held September 18th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Algonac City Hall. City manager Doug Alexander and Sheriff Tim Donnellon will speak on the savings to the city and how the changeover will take place. All residents of Algonac are encouraged to attend. A question and answer session will take place after the Sheriff’s presentation. The Sheriff’s Office will begin patrol duties in the city beginning October 1st. The information session will precede the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. Algonac City Hall is located at 805 St. Clair River Drive in Algonac.
