Marysville Police Asking For Help In Assault Case

The Marysville Police Department is seeking tips in an assault that occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday.  Reports say four people were playing football in a parking lot at Aspen Grove Apartments when a man confronted them about being loud.  During the incident, the man struck one of the others in the head with an unknown weapon. The victim, a 30-year-old Freeland man who was visiting friends, was treated and released from St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron hospital.  The suspect is a white male in his mid 30s to early 40s with a stocky build. He was described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 200 pounds and has a shaved head.  Witnesses  say they did not know the identify of the suspect.  Anyone with information about the incident can call the Marysville Police Department at (810) 364-6300.
