Seminar In Shooter Preparedness

A program designed to assist in active shooter preparedness will be held September 24th from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Donald Dodge Auditorium in Port Huron.  The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office will host the event, which is designed as an interactive training encouraging participants to discuss their vulnerabilities to threats, their own organization’s health and safety capabilities, experiences and preparedness.  The facilitators at the seminar will be Dr. Kenneth Wolf a consultant in threat management, and is a licensed clinical psychologist, and Ms. Knight President/CEO of the Incident Management Team, an international crisis management, security and violence prevention consulting company.   This program is provided free of charge.  It is directed toward businesses, hospitals, school administrators and any potential active shooter victim.  If you wish to attend this program, please contact Andrea Blair at the Sheriff’s Office, either by e-mail at ablair@stclaircounty.org, or by phone at (810) 987-1712.  Donald Dodge Auditorium is located at 201 Grand River Avenue in downtown Port Huron.
