Ribbon Cutting Today

Another ribbon cutting will be held this week by the Blue Water Chamber of Commerce.  The ribbon cutting is being held for the new Round Island Sweet Shop, 902 Military Street, downtown Port Huron on Thursday, September 20.  The business will kick off their grand opening day with an Ambassador ribbon cutting in the afternoon at 4:30 p.m.   An open house will be held from 4-6 p.m., when participants will receive complimentary samples, five-cent cones, and discount offers.  The Round Island Sweet Shop is locally owned and operated by D. Scott and Karla Beedon and offers unique baked goods, deserts and sweets reminiscent of Diana’s Sweet Shoppe.
