October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron and the Mercy Regional Cancer Center are inviting women to have a better understanding of breast cancer risk, screening and treatment. Breast Cancer Support Group will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the First Floor Conference Room of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, featuring special guest speakers: Homeira McDonald, MD, and Kimberely Clark-Paul, MD. Pink Hair for Hope – Thursdays, OCT. 4 & OCT. 11 Pink hair extensions will be provided by hair stylist Rosemary Arnold, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the St. Joseph Mercy Baggot Street Café.
