Scarecrow Saturday In Fort Gratiot

Parks and Recreation will once again be hosting Scarecrow Saturday on Saturday September 29, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Fort Gratiot Pond, off of Parker Rd (btwn Keewahdin and Carrigan). The Fort Gratiot Business Association will be one of the sponsors. The event features a petting zoo, pony rides, chili cook off, tractor rides and live entertainment. There is a small donation for the Chili Cookoff tasting, and all of the proceeds benefit the SCC Child Abuse & Neglect Council. The other events are free. This year’s Chili Cook off features Fuel, Cheap Charlie’s, Day Break Cafe and Bogeys. This is a fun family event, be sure to bring the kids and grand kids.
