Making Strides Walk – Other Activities During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Coming up this Saturday, is the American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer – Saturday, OCT. 13 –  with registration at 8 a.m. and the walk beginning at 9 a.m. This American Cancer Society event will be held at St. Clair County Community College. For details regarding the walk, call 987-3200.  All next week, women who qualify may receive reduced cost mammograms which are available to women who lack health insurance and the financial resources to pay.
