The Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame is moving to the campus of St. Clair County Community College. Hall of fame Chairman Ron Toles announced the move Saturday, Oct. 13, during the organization’s 36th annual induction banquet at Black River Country Club in Port Huron Township. SC4 reached out to the hall’s board of directors earlier this year. The hall was previously housed at the Thomas Edison Inn in Port Huron but was in need of a new location as the hotel is undergoing renovations. The exhibit will be in the lower level of SC4’s North Building. The building also houses the SC4 Gym. The hall of fame is scheduled to open to the public this fall. An open house, reception and tours will be announced later. The hall of fame features more than 300 plaques honoring local teams and individual athletes. It inducts new members each year and honors local athletes with awards and scholarships. For more information about the hall of fame, visit
