Due to the differing need of women in varying stages of breast cancer treatment and survivorship, St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron and its Mercy Regional Cancer Center are proud to offer Breast Cancer Seminars for the Newly Diagnosed. This monthly seminar focuses on the unique needs of women who are newly diagnosed or have been through treatment within the past three years. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, October 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the First Floor Conference Room at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, 2601 Electric Avenue, Port Huron. Registered Dietitian Pat Ripari, of St. Joseph Mercy’s Nutrition and Food Services, will offer a presentation on nutrition intervention during breast cancer treatment and throughout survival.
