Sanilac Sheriff Requesting Public’s Help

November 1, 2012
By

The Sanilac County Sheriff Department is asking for assistance in the investigation into last Friday’s armed robbery at the Depot Party Store in Watertown Township.  According to Sanilac County Sheriff Garry Biniecki the department continues to be on the look out  for a man who allegedly robbed the store at gunpoint Friday night. Investigators are also looking to identify a woman, who may be involved with the suspect or have information about the incident.  A composite sketch of the woman has been made, and reports say she appeared to be about 30 years of age, with a stocky build and was seen dressed in what may have been a medical-style scrub top, in a gray or silver sport utility vehicle.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff department at (810) 648-2000 ext. 2 or contact the Detective Bureau at (810) 648-8360 or (810) 648-8361. People also can provide information to the Crime Stoppers Tip line at (800) 773-2587. There is a reward available.
