November 2, 2012

Thirty-five year old Jeffrey Alan Ross of Port Huron is scheduled to be sentenced at 3 p.m. Dec. 10 – he has  pleaded guilty to attempted unlawful imprisonment and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.  Reports say police responded to Ross’ home in the 2000 block of 10th Street in Port Huron in July after being called to St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron to a report of a 47-year-old man having been assaulted.  The victim told police his roommate assaulted him for not doing as he was told – then locked him in the basement of the home.
