Taste Of Port Huron Saturday

Tomorrow Saturday, November 10, beginning at 2 p.m., the first “Taste of Port Huron” event will begin at McMorran Place civic center. Major downtown restaurants will be on hand with three to four of their specialty items for tasting.  Participating restaurants include Fuel Woodfire Grill, Lynch’s Irish Tavern, Casey’s Pizza and Sub Shop, Coffee Harbor, Military Street Music Café, Round Island Sweet Shoppe, The Raven Café, Superior Backstreet Deli, The Atrium Café and Ice Cream Parlor, Mama Vickie’s, Quay Street Brewing Company, Kate’s Downtown and the Zebra Bar.  Tickets at one dollar each may be purchased for  a “taste” of the restaurant’s fare.  Michelle Wrubel of the Coffee Harbor says, “it’s a great way to taste the best of these local restaurants – and it makes for a cheap date”.
