A preliminary hearing has been set for November 27 for Marcus Anthony Pearson, 29, of Port Huron arraigned on charges of resisting and obstructing arrest, unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon, possession with intent to deliver analogs, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Bail is set at $10,000. St. Clair County Sheriff-Port Huron Police Major Crimes Unit officers allege Pearson and a 30-year-old woman were walking 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of 12th Street in Port Huron. When an officer tried to make contact with the couple, Pearson ran. He was subdued and arrested by the Major Crimes Unit. Pearson had a handgun and several prescription pills on his person. The woman who was released pending lab results also had prescription pills.
