St. Clair County Sheriff Department is seeking the public’s help in obtaining information concerning a bank robbery that took place Saturday morning at The Bank of America Branch at 2030 South River Road in East China Township.  According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, a white male wearing a stocking cap, dark sunglasses and a two toned coat approached a teller shortly before noon.  The man handed the teller a note demanding money.  Once the money was turned over, the man fled on foot.  He was last seen running southbound along South River Road.  Deputies and Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office responded to the bank and checked the area.  A Michigan State Police K-9 was also called to the location, but was unable to locate the suspect, who is described as approximately 6-feet tall, thin build and about 50 years old.  Nobody was injured in the robbery.  Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office at (810) 987-1733.
