A structure fire called crews to the scene yesterday at about 5:40 p.m. Reports say a when rescue crews arrived at a home in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue in Marysville early Sunday evening, they found only light smoke in the residence. Upon investigations, crews determined that the smoke was coming from the home’s furnace. Gas and electric were disconnected and the furnace disassembled. Units from Marysville fire and police departments along with a unit from the Port Huron Fire Department, responded to the scene. No injuries were incurred.
