A 53-year-old Port Huron man was arraigned this week in regards to a felony charge of making a false report or threat of a bomb/harmful device. Frederick John Castle will be back in court at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 4 for a preliminary examination with Judge Cynthia Platzer. Castle is currently being held in the St. Clair County jail on a $5,000 cash surety bond. Port Huron police allege Castle called Port Huron Hospital shortly after 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 26 and said there was a nuclear bomb in the hospital’s parking garage. The call was traced to a home located in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue in Port Huron where he was arrested. Castle reported confessed to making the call.
