Friends Of The Arts At SC4 Raises $1,300

The Friends of the Arts organization at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron raised about $1,300 through its annual Sunday brunch fundraiser in November.  Tickets were sold for a buffet brunch at the River Crab Restaurant in St. Clair Township for any Sunday in November. Friends of the Arts received $8 from each ticket sale to support various arts programs at the college.  Programs that will benefit include SC4’s monthly free Thursday at Noon Concert Series, SC4 Symphonic Band, theatre productions and Patterns, a magazine that showcases student visual art and creative writing.  The Friends of the Arts group supports the arts and promotes programs in music, theatre, creative writing and the visual arts at SC4.  For Friends of the Arts membership information, call (810) 989-5508.
