Church Bells To Ring Today

You will hear the church bells, not on Christmas morning, but this Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Huron– tolling  26 times  in honor of all of the victims of last week’s  Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.  The bells tolling will be heard at the same time as churches  throughout the state of Connecticut  ring their church bells to honor Newtown, Connecticut’s  fallen children and teachers.  It is likely that many churches around the country will join in the ringing, as we as a country mourn the loss of lives from that horrible event.
