A 27-year-old Port Huron man is expected to be arraigned today on charges after police were called to a private party about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Port Huron police officers responded to a private party at the Pilot House River Grille after there was a report of an assault and a man with a gun. The suspect I reported to have returned to the scene while officers were at the establishment at 3136 Military St. and was found to have a holster. A search warrant was executed on the man’s vehicle where officers found drugs and a gun. Charges of possession of marijuana, possession of analog drugs, assault and battery and carrying a concealed weapon are expected to take place today.
