Lambton OPP Asking Public For Help

The Lambton OPP is currently investigating the theft of 50 to 60 brass valves from a trailer which was parked behind the former Rona Hardware/Wilsons Plumbing store on Michigan Ave. in the Village of Point Edward.  The theft, authorities believe likely occurred during the overnight hours of December 17^th to the 18 of last year.  These valves are described as brand name “Red-White” brass valves.  There are two sizes, they say 1.5 and 1.25 inch.  The total value of the theft is estimated at approximately $8,000.00.    If you have any information about this crime, you are asked to call Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 332-8477 or toll free at 1-800-222-8477.
