The Blue Water Film Festival  will be presenting its new look in the New Year. The festival’s fourth annual Art Identity Contest launched this week.  The contest is a call to artists of all ages throughout the state of Michigan and Lambton County, Ontario to design the image that will represent the 2013 Blue Water Film Festival. The contest’s criterion is to include the artist’s original interpretation of the Blue Water Bridge.  The winner – announced March 8, 2013 – will be the official image of the 2013 festival and appear on the cover of the BWFF official program guide as well as other promotional material.  For official Art Identity Contest entry forms and more information about BWFF, please visit www.bluewaterfilmfestival.com  The festival is also showcasing the documentary “Dirty Energy” on January 19th, 2013.  The film begins shortly after the Deepwater Horizon BP oil spill and follows the residents of the area through the next several months.  The Michigan director Bryan Hopkins and two residents of the Gulf region will be in attendance of the event.  Tickets may be purchased at www.bluewaterfilmfestival.com
