State Rep. Dan Lauwers, at left, invited St. Clair County Prosecutor Michael D. Wendling to attend tonight’s annual State of the State address by Gov. Rick Snyder. Wendling, who is Lauwers’ constituent, had never been to a State of the State address. Lauwers said jobs and the economy must continue to be top priorities for the governor and Legislature, and he looks forward to working with all his legislative colleagues to encourage job growth and economic development in the state of Michigan.
