Mitch Maloney
The Fighting Falcons take on Kalamazoo Wednesday, January 23 at McMorran. Mitch Maloney, 18 year old, left wing, is seeing his first junior team on the Falcons. Matthew Uvodich, center, played in New Mexico last season, and moved on to the Falcons this season. The Falcons are in Fifth place in the North American Hockey League North Division, 16 points behind the Soo. Mitch says he enjoys the fast pace of the game, and Matthew and talked about the physicality of the sport. Both young players hope to play college hockey. They visited the WGRT studios this week and both said they know they can beat Kalamazoo, and they plan to show some “good hockey”.
