Port Huron Rotary Creating “Rotary Park” At The River Walk

The Port Huron Rotary is planning to create a new “Rotary Park” at the northern end of the River Walk.  An upcoming “3 Grand Slam” event on February 1st will help raise funds for this great project. The Club will hold its Three Grand Slam at the Port Huron Elks Club at 3292 Beach Road in Port Huron Township on Friday Feb 1st beginning at 6pm. Tickets are $125 per couple and can be purchased from any Rotarian, or by calling 586-945-9676 or by emailing Leagle49@yahoo.com.   Proceeds will benefit the new Riverwalk project sponsored by the Community Foundation. Cash prizes totaling $5000 will be awarded to attendees who will also be able to participate in a live and silent Auction.  When complete, the river walk will run along 4,300 feet of the St. Clair River from Vantage Point south to the Seaway Terminal on land donated by Acheson Ventures.
