Man Arraigned Six Counts

A 44 year old Port Huron resident was arraigned this week on a 6 count felony warrant stemming from a complaint of possessing Child Sexually Abusive Material. James Arthur Nofs stood mute in front of Magistrate Tim Cook on the charges.  Bond was set at $200,000.  Nofs was charged with Child Abusive Commercial Activity, Communicating with Another to Commit Crime via Computer/Internet, 3 counts of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime. The case was set for a preliminary examination on February 12, 2013 in front of Judge John Monaghan.
