SC4 Hosts 17th Annual Science and Engineering Fair

St. Clair County Community College will sponsor the 17th annual St. Clair County Science and Engineering Fair from Feb. 28 through March 3 on the college’s Port Huron campus.  About 100 St. Clair County students in grades four through 12 entered projects for the fair.  The public is invited to view projects and attend an awards ceremony Sunday, March 3. Projects will be on display from noon to 3 p.m. in the College Center Café. An awards ceremony will be from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre.  Judging by a team of independent judges will take place Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2.  Projects will be grouped by grade level, category and as experimental or non-experimental. Categories include earth and space science, physical science, life science and engineering.Ribbons, Best of Show and Grand Awards will be presented for outstanding experimental projects in each grade level and category.  For more information, call (810) 989-5663.
