
The March Of Dimes – Port Huron Office is conducting their
37th ANNUAL Reading Champions fund raiser to coincide with
March Is Reading Month in elementary schools.
The event is sponsored by
E & A Credit Union, and supported by the
Gannett Foundation. This year’s program will involve approximately 1,300 students in grades K-5, from the following elementary schools:
Atwood, Avoca, Capac, Crull, Garfield, Indian Woods, Keewahdin, Kimball, Lakeport, Landmark Academy, Michigamme, Roosevelt, and Thomas Edison. The following March of Dimes volunteers conducted presentations in the schools:

proud to have an opportunity to share the March Of Dimes mission, instill a spirit of community service, and promote basic reading skills among hundreds of students in these elementary schools. Funds raised from the event will directly benefit the March of Dimes mission which is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality through programs of community service, advocacy, research and education.
