State Rep. Paul Muxlow will host a town hall to discuss transportation and funding issues on Monday, May 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lexington Village Hall located at 7227 Huron St. in Lexington. Speaking at the town hall will be Michigan Department of Transportation Director of Governmental Affairs Kelly Bartlett and Jim Shea, owner of PK Contracting. In addition, individuals from the Sanilac County and St. Clair County road commissions will also be available to answer questions. “This meeting will give our citizens the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions on how Michigan should fund its roads and bridges,” Muxlow said. “State and local experts will be on hand to offer their opinions relative to the conditions of transportation in Michigan.” This event is free and no registration is required.
