Spring has Sprung at Studio 1219. Artists and high-end crafters will descended upon the North Gallery May 1st to show off their wares and bring a little brightness to what has been a season of chilly temperatures and dark skies. The Spring Art Market is free to the public and runs until the end of the month. May 10 from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm offers an evening out to celebrate the show at the opening reception. All are invited to celebrate spring’s arrival, meet the artists and maybe even do a little Mother’s Day shopping. There will be items available for every taste and budget. Both the show and the reception are free. Visitors will find handcrafted artistic items not typically offered in the Studio gift shop including jewelry, fiber arts, handmade soaps, candles, woodworking, pottery, glass, ornaments, paper crafts, small paintings, crochet work and more. As always, visitors are encouraged to wander through the many Studio galleries – there are sure to be beautiful new pieces on display since their last visit! All are invited to join the artists for the opening reception scheduled for Friday, May 10th from 6-8pm. This event is free to the public. Those unable to attend the opening are encouraged to visit the Studio at their leisure through May 31st to take a look at this spring’s fresh offerings.
