Registration is now open for summer day camp at The Salvation Army Port Huron Corps Community Center, 2000 Court St. in Port Huron, Mich. Summer day camp, which is also held at the Corps Community Center, runs Monday, June 17 through Friday, Aug. 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day and is open to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The cost ranges from $70 to $105 per week, depending on number of children per family and weeks attending, with a $30 registration fee. Children are welcome to attend one or several weeks of camp. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. This year’s program focuses on giving campers a fun-filled, healthy, safe, educational and inspirational experience, as well as helping them better understand themselves and each other. No two days will be the same as campers enjoy a variety of activities including, arts and crafts, Bible lessons, field trips, music and swimming, as well as recreational and social activities.
