Carrie Bearss, St. Clair County Community College registrar, talks to students of the Croswell-Lexington Early College program Thursday, May 23, on SC4’s Port Huron campus. The students will begin the program in fall 2013 as the fourth group in the program. The program debuted in fall 2010 and allows students to graduate from Croswell-Lexington Early College High School after five years with both a high school diploma from the school district and an associate degree from SC4. The goal is to increase the number of college graduates in both Sanilac and St. Clair counties by bringing the college classes to the Cros-Lex students at the Croswell-Lexington College Center in Croswell. Several SC4 faculty and staff participated in the orientation.
