Students in St. Clair County Community College’s eight-week session of Archaeological Field Methods (Anthropology 195A) participated Wednesday, May 29, in an excavation at Draper Park in Port Huron. The park, a Native American seasonal camp, is on a glacial beach ridge near the St. Clair River north of the Blue Water Bridge. Seats still are available in the four-week session of the class (Anthropology 195B), which begins Monday, June 17. The four-week session is designed for high school students, students wanting a short-term class and K-12 educators seeking professional development credit. To register, visit www.sc4.edu/wave or call Enrollment Services at (810) 989-5500. For more information about the class, email Professor Rob Richardson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
