Port Huron throws its biggest party of the year tonight with the viewing of the sailboats – best known as Boat Night in downtown Port Huron. Thousands of people are expected downtown to enjoy all the festivities – view the boats – visit the carnival and listen to music – entertainment is provided free on three stages! Tomorrow the race begins as the vessels compete in the Bayview Port Huron to Mackinac Yacht Race. The fun continues Saturday night as the Lighted Boat Parade takes over the Black River. Boats will be dressed in all kinds of beautiful illumination – parade is expected to begin about 9:00 p.m. After the parade head to the Budweiser Main Stage in the Zebra Bowl parking lot to hear national recording act Hinder – then Sunday – music at Vantage Point, with fireworks to finish the party! Fireworks are expected to begin at dusk.
