There is potential for everyone to be exposed to blood or body fluids while on the job. Accidents happen everyday and it’s important for everyone to know how to minimize the risk of infection with diseases like Hepatitis or HIV. Schools, daycare facilities and other businesses and institutions that deal with many people on a daily basis are required by OHSA to provide this training for their employees. The St. Clair County Health Department will offer a Community Bloodborne Pathogen Training on Monday, August 5 from 5pm until 6pm at the main office in Port Huron. There is a $20 per person charge to register for the training, with a $60 maximum fee per agency. A training certificate will be provided to each participant upon completion of the course. To register for the training or for more information contact (810) 987-5300 or email email@example.com.
