The interviews for a new City Manager for Port Huron were set to take place this Saturday, but were cancelled due to two of the potential applicants taking other positions. Council did not feel they should schedule a day to do just one interview. We are now in August and the process begins anew. We thought you might be interested in what is going on with one of our former City Managers. You might remember him, Tom Hutka, who now serves as director of the Public Works Department for Broward County, Florida. Hutka oversees the department’s eight county divisions, which have a budget of nearly $400 million and more than 1,000 employees. Can you spot him in this picture at his current job?
