The Port Huron Hospital Foundation is hosting a block party tonight from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in honor of National Night Out. Children’s games, prizes, hot dogs and ice cream will be available at no charge at Port Huron Hospital from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Port Huron Hospital Foundation for residents in the area of Port Huron bounded by the Black River, St. Clair River and the I-94/Blue Water Bridge corridor. Also, tonight, a mini-petting zoo, bouncy house and slide, food and giveaways, children’s games and bingo for adults will be offered at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church parking lot between 6 and 9 p.m. Tuesday. This get-together for downtown residents is being sponsored by the First Congregational Church, First Presbyterian Church, Grace Episcopal Church, Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, St. Martin’s Lutheran Church and Mid-City Nutrition and the Port Huron Police Department.
