The Blue Water Pregnancy Care Center will host the 17th Annual Walk-For-Life in Port Huron on Saturday, September 14 at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds will provide free services to the community’s underprivileged mothers and fathers. The easy two-mile Walk-For-Life will take place at the Pine Grove Park in Port Huron. “It’s a fun event for all ages” says Jennifer Rose, Executive Director. You can help moms, babies and dads in the Blue Water area by participating in this event. Walkers ask their friends, co-workers and others for a pledge then complete the 2 mile walk, either with us or on their own. Walkers gathering pledges totaling more than $200, receive a free commemorative T-shirt. Walkers should register no later than August 28, so they have time to ask for pledges. Walk Registration forms are available on-line (BlueWaterBabies.org), at your local church or at the pregnancy center, 1211 Griswold Street in Port Huron. The Blue Water Pregnancy Care Center is a medical clinic dedicated to serving those experiencing unplanned pregnancy, with free pregnancy tests and ultrasound; prenatal and parenting education; baby items; and community referrals.
