The St. Clair County Library System will be celebrating Library Card Sign-up Month during the month of September. Resources at the eleven branches are available to anyone who holds a library card. Along with in-house materials, residents may access online databases, programs and services. Students can benefit from all types of programs and products that support academic achievement. There are music cd’s – entertainment and educational videos, as well as numerous book clubs and children’s activities. Library cards are free to all St. Clair County residents or property owners. You just need to visit your local branch, bring photo ID with your current address to any of the 11 branches. Children under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or legal guardian present, with proper identification, when applying.
