An information session is planned Monday, Sept. 16, at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron for students interested in SC4’s pharmacy technician program. The session will be from 6 to 7 p.m. in Room 206 of the college’s Citizens First Michigan Technical Education Center, corner of Erie Street and Glenwood Avenue. SC4 will offer the pharmacy technician program on the college’s Port Huron campus. The program will run from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesdayfrom Oct. 14 to Jan. 29. During the 105-hour program, students will explore various pharmacy practice settings and learn about drug classes, basic physiology, drug interactions and daily pharmacy operations. The class will prepare students to take the national certification exam. Students must complete pre-assessment testing at least one week prior to class start date.
