
Lambton OPP Investigates

Lambton OPP is currently investigating two unsolved armed robberies which occurred in the early morning hours of Thursday May 24 and again in the early morning hours of Tuesday May 29th at the Mae’s Convenience in the Village of Watford. In both cases, reports say two males entered the store and confronted the lone female clerk – and stole a quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets. In the first incident suspects were described as white, 6’ tall and wearing dark clothing. In the second incident one suspect was reported to have been wearing a long sleeved striped shirt, light coloured pants and gloves. The other suspect was wearing a heavy coat and jeans.
