The St. Clair County Health Department, along with Cargill, Inc of St. Clair to help bring River Day 2012 to the rivers, lakes and bays of St. Clair County. Cargill partners with organizations that protect and improve accessibility to water resources and provide environmental conservation and preservation education. River Day returns for one day, Saturday, June 9, with a full day of free activities on land and water. All River Day events are free; prizes are given at each event. River Day activities include:

River Day corresponds with Michigan Free Fishing Weekend giving residents the chance to drop a line without a license.
