The well-known voice in the Blue Water Area of John Hill will no longer be heard, as he passed away Tuesday, June 12th.  For many years morning show personality John Hill could be heard on WPHM, originally known as WTTH.  He retired from the station in August 2002 upon completing 35 years of service.  Hill taught communication at St. Clair County Community College, developed a production company called John Hill & Associates and worked producing television documentaries as well as being involved in many video and  community projects in the area.  John Hill is survived by his wife Grace.   The funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The visitation is Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock St.
