A fire on Bartlett Road in Kimball Township kept members of the Kimball Township and Port Huron Township fire departments busy for some time yesterday.  Firefighters were called to a  garage fire at about noon yesterday that totally destroyed the garage and left some exterior damage to a vacant house.  Officials remained on the scene for at least an hour following the original call to put out hot spots.
