Preliminary Exam In Fatal Shooting
July 5th, 2012
Preliminary examination for 33 year old Cydney Igram of Detroit for the fatal shooting of 23 year old Jason Mychal Williams began Tuesday of this week in front of Judge John Monaghan in St. Clair County Circuit Court. Williams was shot in the back on June 15. Igram is facing charges of open murder and using a firearm during a felony. Witnesses testified that Williams and others were standing outside at 3129 Electric Ave. in the early morning hours of June 15 when Ingram and his girlfriend returned to their apartment at the Village Manor Townhomes. Arguing was heard, and Igram left for a time, returning with a gun. He was reported to be pointing the gun in a sloppy manner with no control. Williams had been trying to calm Igram down, when the gunshots were heard. The prosecutor says Williams died from a shot to his chest and to his back after Ingram fired the long gun multiple times. Police continue to be on the look out for 28 year old John Seaborn Little, who is also wanted in connection with Williams’ death. Anyone who has information about the shooting or who knows the whereabouts of Little can call CAPTURE at (810) 987-6688. A reward of $1,000 is available for information leading to Little’s arrest.
