Circuit Court Judge James Adair sentenced Bryan Thibodeau to a minimum of more than 55 years in prison after Thibodeau plead guilty to all of his 37 charges, including conducting a criminal enterprise, two counts of first degree home invasion, and felony firearm. Thibodeau’s wife, Lisa, was sentenced to a minimum of 5 years in prison with a maximum of 20 years for conducting a criminal enterprise. She had pleaded guilty to 18 charges in the case. Reports say Bryan Thibodeau was connected to 28 break-ins, but authorities suspect he broke into hundreds more. Authorities linked Lisa Thibodeau to 16 break-ins. The couple targeted homes when they knew owners would be away for events such as weddings and funerals, according to the St. Clair County Prosecutor’s Office.
