
SC4 President Provides Keynote Address At National Conference

Dr. Kevin A. Pollock, president of St. Clair County Community College, provided the opening keynote address at a recent national conference about working with college transfer students. Pollock presented “Our Changing and Challenging Role on the Road to Student Success” at the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers 2012 Transfer Conference. His presentation focused on the changing times in education, along with recent federal and state education initiatives, and how they affect the jobs and roles of student support services personnel. The conference was July 1, 2 and 3 in Chicago. Its theme was “Academic Mobility: Perspectives on the Future of Transfer.” Community college, college and university student support services professionals from across the nation and around the world attended the conference.
