A man who was riding a bicycle, headed south on Lakeshore Road about 6 p.m. last evening was transported  to the hospital after he was hit by a car. The car was driven by an elderly Fort Gratiot woman who was also heading south on Lakeshore Road when she struck the Port Huron man as she turned west on Lakeshore Terrace. The man was taken to St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron hospital with injuries to his knees.
