Good Manners At The Museum
August 22nd, 2012

The Port Huron Museum is opening a new exhibit entitled “Good Manners: Everyday Etiquette, Past and Present”. This timely exhibit will run from Saturday August 25, 2012 through Sunday, November 4, 2012.   There is etiquette to just about everything we do from walking down the street, eating at our favorite restaurant, at school, work or parties. The latest rules of etiquette are even now being developed in our digital world of business and social communications – emailing, cell phoning, texting, and photo sharing. This exhibition takes an entertaining look at the etiquette of everyday life, for adults and school age visitors; comparing rules of the past with the present and to discuss the real purpose of our current rules.  Good Manners exhibit also offers a full schedule of related family programs, during the entire run of the exhibit.  Call the Museum for specific times of the programs.
