Joy Whitman

Michigan State Police continue investigation into the crash that has taken the life of a 52-year-old Clyde Township woman who died yesterday from injuries sustained after being hit by a car while on her bicycle Monday.  The woman has been identified as Joy Whitman. Rescue crews responded to the 7000 block of Rynn Road in Clyde Township following the crash.  Officials report a 22-year-old Hazel Park woman was driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser westbound when she hit the bicyclist.  The Clyde Township woman was taken to Port Huron Hospital before being airlifted to Beaumont hospital in Royal Oak.  Joy Whitman died yesterday afternoon.
